Natalie Blue
Co-Owner & Expressive Arts TherapistNatalie Blue is the Co-Owner and Chief Vision Officer of The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio located in Salem MA. She is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Expressive Arts Therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. Prior to Co-Founding The Artful Life in 2016, with her business partner Madelene Pario, Natalie worked in community mental health, was an adjunct psychology professor at local colleges and ran her own successful private practice.
In addition to managing a small caseload, Natalie oversees the ‘creative vision’ of The Artful Life by building brand awareness, developing partnerships for community programs, strengthening referral networks for new clients. Natalie also helps develop in-house expressive arts programs and supports staff through clinical supervision and building their caseloads.
Natalie has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from Saint Peter’s University in NJ. Prior to becoming an Expressive Arts Therapist, Natalie worked in Creative Development building new children’s media programs at Sesame Workshop in New York City. She is a New Jersey native but now resides on Massachusetts North Shore with her husband, 2 children (ages 12 and 8) and their mini labradoodle, Fozzie.
