Happy May!

We’re thrilled to finally be having some warmer weather! We’re looking forward to having some lunchtime gatherings outside! But don’t wait to get to know your co-working co-workers.

One of the benefits of co-working is getting away from the loneliness of working at home all alone with no one to talk to but the cat, dog or fish. At Inc.ubate you get to share an office without office politics.

Check out the member list HERE  to see who you might see on any given day. If you haven’t updated your bio, please be sure to do so!

Here are some thoughts to make the best use of the shared office:

• Say hello when you come in and goodbye when you leave. People are usually working hard, but a polite diversion will be appreciated.

• If you don’t want to be disturbed, check out one of the private offices. We have several comfortable options that will give you all the privacy you need.

• Team up with a co-incubator for accountability. Tell each other what you plan to work on and then get to it knowing someone will be checking in.

• Set up an impromptu coffee or lunch run. Remember, part of being productive includes taking breaks.

In order to help people make connections, we’ll be having some networking times this month.

Monday, May 6 - Coffee and Cookies, 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Open to the public. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and a cookie to start your day. This is a great time for potential members to check out the space.

Thursday, May 16 - Member lunch, 12 - 1 p.m. Menu to be determined. Join us for a casual lunch to catch up and hear what folks are working on.

Friday, May 24 - Happy hour, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Relax after a long week and spend some time with your fun co-workers.

Looking for a meeting space? The conference room is available for larger gatherings. With the big screen, it’s easy to include people from all over the world.
